Hilo Pilot Standards

Trust is a practice, not a badge.

Alohamation is building Hilo Local Help carefully: clear scope, honest provider checks, human follow-up, and no hidden payment handling.

Family Care Coordination

A local plan should make distance easier—not create new worries.

Family Care Coordination helps organize practical local support. It does not provide emergency response, health care, personal care, legal advice, financial advice, guardianship, or a guarantee of any provider’s work.

1

Authorized updates only

The person requesting coordination identifies who may receive updates. That permission can be changed or withdrawn.

2

Minimum necessary detail

We ask only for the practical details needed to organize the request. Do not send medical records, financial account details, or passwords.

3

Emergency path stays clear

Call 911 for an immediate emergency. Alohamation is not an emergency dispatch service.

Provider standards

Every trust indicator needs a definition and a date.

Alohamation will never use a blanket “vetted” claim. Provider profiles should display the specific check completed and when it was last confirmed.

Identity confirmed

The provider’s business or individual identity and contact information were reviewed. This is not a guarantee of performance.

License checked

Shown only when a license is relevant and its public status has been checked. Customers should still confirm scope and current status.

Insurance confirmed

Shown only when the provider has supplied current evidence of applicable coverage. Coverage can change and is rechecked on schedule.

Community listed

A listing may be visible before it has completed any particular check. The profile must say exactly what has and has not been confirmed.

Transaction boundaries

Organize the next step. Do not hold the money.

During the pilot, Alohamation does not hold customer money, act as escrow, decide legal terms, or promise to resolve a dispute. In-product payment will only be considered after payment-provider, refund, dispute, tax, and legal reviews are complete.

The future transaction organizer may provide

  • Shared task, appointment, and pickup checklists
  • Reminder and status-update tools
  • Links to approved third-party tools where appropriate
  • No escrow, no legal-document advice, and no money custody

Pilot privacy & terms

Keep the pilot simple and transparent.

Current request flow

Contact, Business Demo, and Local Help follow-up requests are sent through Alohamation’s secure server and delivered to the configured team notification channels. When the configured request database is available, they are also stored for follow-up. They do not create a payment, booking, or public provider listing. Provider applications remain a sender-controlled email handoff during the pilot.

What to avoid sending

Do not send passwords, bank information, government ID numbers, medical records, Social Security numbers, or detailed health information through a pilot request.

Pilot participation

Participation is voluntary. A request does not guarantee a provider match; a provider application does not guarantee acceptance; and a profile check does not guarantee safety or quality.

Report a concern

For a safety concern, incorrect listing information, or a request to stop family updates, contact tuinigel@gmail.com. Call 911 for immediate danger.

This is a public pilot standards page, not a substitute for final attorney-reviewed Terms of Service or Privacy Policy. Formal policies must be completed before a public payments marketplace launches.

Sources and review date

Use primary sources for safety and provider checks.

Alohamation uses these public sources as practical reference points. They do not create a guarantee, replace professional advice, or prove an individual provider’s current status.

Last reviewed: September 5, 2026. Sources are reviewed before material public claims are added.
